With Xian Wings, you have a real client app that lets you review system states, alerts and performance data just a few seconds after being alerted to a problem. More importantly, you can correct these problems directly from you iPhone in the time it takes to boot your laptop. Features: Alert Management Wings allows you to check the status of a specific Alert or view all of the Alerts related to a specific server or application. You can also use Wings to update, reassign and even close Alerts once they have been resolved. Notifications You choose the Alerts that are most critical to your business and, using the Apple Push Notification Service, Wings will notify you when the Alert happens and provide you with all of the information you need to fix it fast. Performance Graphs Want to see what was happing on your server before the Alert went out? Using the performance graphing feature in Wings, you can see performance trends for any performance counter in the minutes, hours or even days leading up to the Alert. Wings will also allow you to store your most important graphs so you can refresh them in seconds. Task Execution Imagine that you need to do something specific like pull IPCONFIG data on a server or restart a Windows service. Wings has the ability to execute any task that you ve built in Operations Manager and return the task results to you iPhone. Secure Communications Wings uses an encrypted connection to authenticate users and pass data between the Wings Server and the iPhone Client. User authentication is handled in two layers: First, users and their iPhones must be authorized by the Wings Administrator before they can ever have access to Wings functionality. Second, the user must provide a valid Operations Manager account before they can have access to their Ops Manager data.
